Send a map thumbnail with travel duration, arrival time and a pre-filled message to a contact

Description

Let a loved one know what time you'll be home with the press of a button.

On My Way lets you choose a contact (or a few) to send a beautiful map of your location along with details of how long it will take to arrive at your destination and what your arrival time will be.

You can choose from a list of canned responses, or enter your own.

Here's what it looks like.

This is the best “ETA” shortcut by far! Excellent work! Is there a way I can promote this somehow so people can try it themselves? If you haven’t posted it on reddit, I wold like to (crediting you of course) letting people know how good it is. Thanks for your hard work!

Can you add text where the map is saying your destination?

The text under the map says your location and travel time - the map just shows the map of where you are. Do you mean add the text so it's over the map instead?

I meant where all the other information is. To add the destination where all of the other text is

If you go down to the "Get Travel Time" block, you can change the transport to "walking"

Hi thanks for your answer. But i figured it out and changed a bit by flashing a pop up to choose either walking, driving, public transport options. It works well now. Thanks for your answer :) its a great shortcut i use it everyday!

Hi, When I use this shortcut on iphone 11 ios 13, map doesn't appear with text message, only text message... So I try to modify shortcut to show image but I can't show image and text in message...How I can do this ? Thanks !
