Workout Planner
Calculates the quickest and easiest workout you can do to meet your Apple Watch activity goals
Description
When you run this Shortcut, it calculates the workouts you'll need to do in order to complete your Apple Watch activity goals in the least time and effort possible. It figures out how much of your two favorite workouts you need to do to optimize this.
Setup
Find two workouts you've done (one of each type) in the Activity app. The longer they are, the more accurate the predictions will be. You will be asked for the duration of those workouts as well as the number of active calories burnt.
You will also ask you your Move Goal. This how many calories it takes to complete the red ring in the Activity app.
To keep this accurate, update these values every few months by pressing the "Settings" button that appears when you first run the Shortcut. You can also change which type two types of workouts you want to do, as well as your daily Move Goal from here.
General Info
- Supports UpdateKit
- Doesn't work on iPad
Only works if you use the Apple Watch Activity app to track your activity goals. You can do the workout itself in any app that logs data to the Health app. Let me know in the feedback section if you want a version that supports third party goal tracking apps.
