System Language

Detect the language or dialect used by the Shortcuts app

Description

Shortcuts 2.2.1 is translated to 39 languages or dialects. This shortcut detects which of those translations is being used (except that “en_AU” and “en_GB” are detected just as “en”).

It can be used as an external function by passing it any input. When executed without input it works in demo mode (by calling itself with some input).

It can be run from the widget without opening the app.
