Version 2.00 is here. Finally bringing this shortcut in line with the Sonarr shortcut in terms of features and menu options. I've lost track on exactly everything that changed. But here are the high lights.

Added queue menu. View download queue or view download history for the past 10 items.
Renamed edit menu to 'advanced'.
Added caching of movie menu items. This greatly improved the speed for searching for movies. And accessing any menu that required a compiled list of shows. Which means fewer repeated steps in each menu. Movie cache will update periodically and when adding a new movie.
Added sorting of selecting releases based on quality weight, this should place the more relevant releases on top of the search results.
Fixed incorrect sourcing of key when searching for movies. Therefore fixing returning a ton of unwanted profiles.
Added rich notifications in all notifications that support it.

An easy to follow setup will run on first run of shortcut.

1)  If you want to add 4K movies
2) API Key. Found in settings-general-API 
3) Radarr url This should be set to ‘http(s)://IPorHOSTNAME:PORT/api’ if no base URL. http(s)://IPorHOSTNAME:PORT/baseURL/api’. If you use a reverse proxy ‘http(s)://IPorHOSTNAME/baseURL/api’ 
4) root path where you store you HD quality media content. i.e /media/Synology/Content/Movies
5) root path for where you want to store 4K quality media, can be different or same as above.

Where does the shortcut grab the profiles to add for a new movie? I added a movie, selected 4K option but went to check and it added the movie with an "Any" quality profile. Any way it can pull the existing quality profiles and ask when adding? Thanks

The setup steps for choosing 4k are run on the first run of the shortcut. If answered 'yes' to the prompt.. The file path in iCloud should be "/MediaServer/Radarr/RadarrAPI.json". Can be edited with text edit.

I run Radarr on Windows so my file path includes a drive letter (not the same disk that Radarr is running on), ex. G:\Usenet\Complete\Movies. The shortcut seems to work perfectly and even says the film is added, but isn't adding it. I assume the issue is with the file path. Any ideas?

In a web browser on your computer go to your radarr url with the following. https://YOURRADARRURL/api/rootfolder?apikey=YOURAPIKEYHERE if you use a web root: https://YOURRADARRURLHERE/WEBROOT/api/rootfolder?apikey=YOURAPIKEYHERE This should show you the path that Radarr expects exactly. You can copy and paste it into your JSON stored in iCloud Drive. Being sure you replace the right path. Or just delete that JSON config and reset up pasting in the path as Radarr see it.

If that doesnt fix it, let me know. You reminded me with this that I have a way to just auto source the paths that I put in the Sonarr shortcut.. So I need to add that in for this one.

I did the above and got the root folder. It was what I posted above, minus it having two forward slashes per level obviously. I put that in the JSON file and when going through to add a movie it says it’s adding and then says it’s added, but it’s not in the collection. I’m about to setup the sonarr shortcut so will have to let you know.

I setup Sonarr tonight and looked at the Json file and it had put in the same path as I had entered in Radarr, but had an extra // after Movies. I did that and it still doesn’t actually add the file. Ok, with that said I tried to add a show with Sonarr and it does the same thing. Says it’s adding, then says added and nothing is actually added to my show list.

Sorry, I don’t have it running on windows. I would have to deploy it on a VM and see what’s happening. I will also check the API docs and see if they reference windows pathing. I’ll let you know when/if I find something.

I'm still getting invalid path 'warn' in the radarr log. I thought I might have found it because my path is this: "path": "G:\\Usenet\\complete\\Movies" I noticed when it's generating the VCards to select the film in the Notes field it's NOTE:pathSelectedAdd/title so I changed it to NOTE:pathSelectedAdd\\title to match my path above. I was super hopeful when it ran, but its still not adding.

OK I FIGURED IT OUT! I put in an output to see what JSON was actually getting sent and the last post is correct, the notes field must be changed, but ALSO the path needs to be G:\\\\Usenet\\\\complete\\\\Movies stored in the .json file. I noticed that with just \\ it was sending G:UsenetcompleteMovies instead of having the slashes at all. So there is a couple of things to fix. 1. Change the way the path is stored in the .json file when you get it back from Sonarr/Radarr.

2. Update the VCard when adding a film to be pathSelected\\\\title 3. Add 'profileID' to the POST. Without it I was just getting an error that it had to be there back from Radarr. 4. Add year to the movie title save path ex. Movie (1999). Everything is there in the vCard for do it. After I made the changes I mentioned in the previous post it worked perfectly adding the movie.
