This shortcut is for in case your device gets lost. Anyone who picks it up will be able to open this shortcut to get your information in order to give your device back to it’s rightful owner.

What sets this shortcut apart is it’s “password” feature. When you set up this shortcut you can enter a password into the shortcut, then when someone picks your device up, they can ask you to read out your entire password to verify that you are the true owner of your device. Random parts of the password are censored with an asterisk, to ensure that only you can claim the device and not some stranger who just wants a free phone from the Lost and Found

P.S. If you want to change your password please go to the shortcuts folder and delete the “OwnerInfo” folder! Then just go into the shortcut and press Customize Shortcut to change your password!
