AuthKit • Authenticate natively.
Native Face ID/Touch ID/Numeric Passcode authentication for Shortcuts.
Description
Welcome to AuthKit (Public Beta)
Add biometric and passcode authentication into your shortcut. Simple, easy, and works with Face ID, Touch ID, and numerical passcodes.
No helper app needed. It's time to ditch "Authenticate" in Toolbox Pro.
Warning: The shortcut can sometimes break App Switcher and Screenshot functions. Not to worry, if this happens, it can be fixed by going to the Power Off screen, and then hitting cancel.

Introduction
Adding authentication to your Shortcuts has been possible, but has been very hard to implement in public Shortcuts. Why is that? Because for a while, we needed a "helper app" that must be downloaded from the App Store, to add these functions. Creators of Shortcuts fear from adding authentication because one look at the Apple ID screen could potentially make the user of their Shortcuts stop using them. With AuthKit, that is completely removed. Instead of having to install an app, users install one Shortcut to enable authentication. The familiarity of this way also allows users with Screen Time/Restrictions to continue using your Shortcut. And, by using a workaround in Shortcuts, AuthKit can even authenticate and reply back to your Shortcut faster than many of these helper apps. With AuthKit, adding authentication into your Shortcuts is easy.
Secure
AuthKit prevents unauthorized users from continuing in your shortcut. And it's native, so your shortcut will not access any biometric or passcode data.
Simple to Set Up
A testing tool is included in AuthKit to learn how to implement it. It's super seamless, and if you can't figure it out, hop into our Discord chat at burrito.software/discord.

Disclaimer: This Shortcut is designed for iOS 13. It may or may not function correctly on iOS 14, and will not be supported until iOS 14 has been released as stable.
