This shortcut prompts you for a date, then figures out what the latest version of Minecraft: Java Edition (computer Minecraft). An example of how to use this is if you find a mod video that doesn’t specify a version, you can enter the release date of the video, and it will help you predict the version by showing the latest version for that date.
