Translate text and images from any language to any language.

Use this as a stand-alone app (from the Shortcuts app or the widget), or as a Share extension from text or images.

This shortcut uses OCR.Space to read text from images. You can sign up for a free API key at ocr.space. You can enter your key the first time you translate text from images, or through “Settings” in the shortcut.

This shortcut uses an updater based on LightningUpdate by @Kindredcashew981.

This seems so cool, but whether I do image or photo I keep getting back this error message. “Could not evaluate the key path. In “, no value was found for dictionary key ‘ParsedResults’.

Looks like a problem with the way I implemented the API. I forgot to account for what happens if OCR.Space has significant trouble with recognizing text. I’ll be releasing v2.0 soon, with some major changes to the way it works, so I will fix this issue for that release. Thanks for pointing this out!

I’ll release an update later today that resizes the image so that it hopefully avoids the file size limit that OCR.Space sets for the free API. Edit: updated!
