Proteus is a Shortcut inspired from the King of tweaks of Jailbreak, Activator. Although it cannot be compared to its greatness, brings powerful capabilities to stock iOS.

User can apply multiple system wide actions, involving almost all available switches such as WiFi, Bluetooth, system appearance, font size and many many more.

Additionally, user can create multiple profiles, containing different combinations of actions. When a profile is triggered, iOS changes according to its contents of actions.

For example, a profile named “Reading” could instantly prepare iOS environment for reading articles in your favorite news app. Such a profile could change font size, enable Dark mode and set brightness to a predefined value at the same time.

Another profile could prepare iOS for gamers engaging among others, DND or Airplane mode.

Profiles can be manually triggered from Proteus main menu or via shortcut’s widget. Profiles must have unique names. User can preview, edit or delete them. A new profile with an existing name will overwrite the old one.

Don’t forget to add a single profile in order to revert any changes made by others. Such a profile must contain actions for all available switches.

Things are getting much more interesting if you decide to download “Profiler” from Settings menu. You’ll be able to trigger profile actions automatically without the need to open or tap anything at all!
