Pictionary
Play Pictionary without the board, dice, cards, or timer! You can even draw on your screen!
Description
This shortcut replaces the need to buy Pictionary - you can now even draw directly in the shortcut. Although you don’t have to — I’m personally a fan of connecting an iPad to a TV and drawing on the iPad with an Apple Pencil, but this shortcut works with paper and pencil as well!
Contains almost 400 words, but it doesn’t have categories like real Pictionary.
In real pictionary you win by reaching the end of a game board that has 55 places. You move each round by a roll of 1 die. This is why the shortcut version is 55 points to win, and why it rolls a die.
Requires Toolbox Pro, but just the free version. UPDATE: Someone just let me know that I actually have been using a premium toolbox pro tool. It only affects the drawing pad feature, but if you don’t have the premium tools, simply scroll almost to the bottom of the shortcut and find “if clipboard is opendrawingpad” and delete the if action and the actions it contains. I am working on a solution that won’t need the premium tools, so be sure to check for updates.
If you run into the error “Shortcut Not Found”, you’ll need to scroll about halfway down the shortcut to find the action “Run Shortcut”. You’ll just need to select the current version of Pictionary, and this allows the shortcut to discard used words. But you probably won’t ever see this.
Latest Release Notes
2.1 - July 29, 2020, 7:47 a.m.
This update brings the drawing pad to those of you who don’t have Toolbox Pro’s Premium tools. However, that version of the drawing pad doesn’t support Dark Mode.
Premium users will still have Dark Mode, so don’t worry.
This update introduces a one-time question asking you if you have Toolbox Pro’s Premium tools, in order to add the drawing pad for non-premium users. You will not be asked again, even after future updates.
