EngineSwap

Swap UpdateKit’s engine with anything you like!

Description

This is a fork of SwingPlug
Replacement for UpdateKit

FAQ
Why isn’t it advised to use UpdateKit
It’s a bit slow, here are some performance stats from LightningUpdate: LU Stats I’m a developer, should I use EngineSwap
No! EngineSwap is just a replacement for shortcuts that use UpdateKit
What should I use then?
It’s mostly personal preference, UpdateKit is honestly great for if you want to make your own website like RoutineHub, but, just for RoutineHub, it’s a bit slow. I am personally endorsing Swing Updater if you’re a beginner
What Engine does ESwap use
ESwap uses LightningUpdate because of its great performance, however you can easily drop in a new ‘Engine’
Aren’t Embed Updaters bad
No! Embedded Updaters are amazing and provide for the best UX because they don’t require the user to download something else to receive updates. In fact, ESwap uses an Embedded Updater!
Can I use ESwap alongside UpdateKit?
Yes! You can now pass through to UpdateKit in newer versions!
ESwap broke shortcut X and doesn’t have feature X
You can usually find me on the RoutineHub Discord under Macintosh512k#9075
