This shortcut allows you to quickly record video or audio, with the option to do so discretely. The recordings are saved to your camera roll and uploaded to iCloud.

A few more details. Shortcut sets do not disturb, airport mode, brightness and audio levels. Records either Audio or Video, uploads to iCloud, then recalls previous volume and brightness settings. When starting a recording, you have the following options:

Audio Only [Discrete] - Records audio only with the display dimmed.

Front Camera [Discrete] - Records video and audio with the display dimmed.

Rear Camera [Emergency] - Records video and audio with the display on full and light on (the light cannot be turned off when starting recordings are started automatically on the rear camera, limitation of Shortcuts).

PLEASE NOTE, recordings are started automatically but need to be stopped manually. To stop AUDIO recordings tap anywhere on the screen. To stop VIDEO use the on screen or volume side buttons, then select 'use video'.
