This is a simple YouTube stream downloader.

It is run from the Share sheet of the browser on the YouTube mobile website. It doesn’t require any other apps to be installed on your device.

I shared this due to a high number of recent requests for this type of shortcut.

Features include:

• Download YouTube Videos without needing any other programs

• Background Play Audio from videos when exiting from Safari (not available on iPad)

• Save Audio from videos

BE AWARE:

• If you try to run the shortcut from the YouTube app it will open the video in safari and you will need to re-run the shortcut from there.
• you must run this shortcut from the mobile version of Safari, if you are using the desktop site, switch to the mobile site.
• The shortcut must be run from the Safari share sheet, not from the website’s share area.
