Really nice, you obviously put a lot of effort into this shortcut. My biggest complaint is that when saved, passwords aren’t encrypted at all. You should probably add some form of encryption there. Also, for where you do encrypt passwords I realized the only option was ROT13. While it is nice to see a shortcut that doesn’t use unsecure as heck base64, ROT13 really isn’t that better. You should probably add CryptoKit there, which uses the Stanford Javascript Crypto Library. (1/2)

You also may want to use vCards, as in my opinion they look better than just normal lists/menus, but hey that’s just me. Honestly really nice shortcut, 8/10. (2/2)

Thank you for your nice feedback. I TOTALLY understand what you mean, and yes I am only working on this in my free time so it may take a while to get all those features in.

I’m probably going to work on encrypting the passwords and publish the new version first, then I’ll make the vCard menus and patch everything up

I use SHA-256 to verify passwords in PassKit. Is that as secure? EDIT: Oh yeah, this is for password generation, not password verification. Hashing would be terrible to use in this situation.

Yeah I’m also going to replan the generators later these are mostly placeholders

Actually I might just have to resort to hashes for the saving of passwords — honestly I didn’t know about hashes in shortcuts until your comment. So thanks

Well then, I’ll just have to do a three or two layer base 64 encode... ;-;
