Allows you to download any All Things Considered, Morning Edition, Weekend Edition Saturday or Weekend Edition Sunday for playing on your local device. These shows don’t have podcasts, so I created this.

There are two ways to run this shortcut:

Stand alone (Today's show only)

1. Run the shortcut.

2. Pick the show you want from the menu.

3. By default, FileBrowser - Document Manager by Stratospherix Ltd will be launched if you have it. If you don't replace that with another file manager software that can play MP3s and extract a zip file. If you need help with another app, let me know and I will see if I can help.

4. If you want to control this shortcut by voice commands, download NPR by Voice in addition to this shortcut.

As a Share Shortcut

1. From any web browser, go to any of the four NPR shows listed above for any day. (Eg. start at https://www.npr.org/programs/all-things-considered/ and select something from the archive.)

2. When you find the show you want, select the Share symbol, pick Shortcuts and choose 'Download NPR'. This will automatically take the URL you are looking at and attempt to download the show.

This shortcut now includes Embed-a-Update , so it requires no external shortcuts or resources like UpdateKit. Embed-a-Update is also very fast. Enjoy.
