Description

A wallpaper calendar agenda display utility to pull calendar events and format them into a table, overlayed on a background of your choosing, and set to your iOS device screen size. Has custom settings and also the ability to add some weather forecast info. I built it with iOS 13 Public Beta and is only compatible with iOS 13+. See the latest release notes for more information.

On iOS 13 public beta 5 this gives a numerical augment error even reducing the events to 1 still returns an error. Great idea btw, I know about the set wallpaper in this beta, but it does not get that far anYway, I was going to modify to creat the pdf to set it manually.

It runs well on my iPhone 8 using iOS 13.1 bet beta 2. do the days and events switch automatically or do you have to download the shortcut every day

You have to run it every day due to the limitations of iOS. I've set mine up to run via automations when I stop my morning wake up alarm, but I still have to manually set the wallpaper after it runs. Hopefully the Shortcuts team gives us back the option to set the wallpaper as an action in Shortcuts.

I’d like to help you out, so can you do the following? 1. In the part of the shortcut that has the calendar selection can you take a screenshot and send it to me? 2. Then add a quick look directly after that and then run the shortcut. 3. Verify that it’s pulling in four events based on your selected calendar criteria. https://i.imgur.com/R3NCscD.jpg

So I found the reason that was causing this issue. I use TV Time app which has its calendar service account in my iOS accounts section. I disabled it and shortcut ran perfectly.

I hope This works. https://paste.pics/6OU02 There where it says „automatische Breite“ unthinkable this could mean automatic width in English. This is the point where it crashes on my iPad. It looks like there needs to be something filled in.

I don’t think the automatic width would have anything to do with it crashing. I’m really not sure why it would crash on you at that point (when it’s almost done). I wonder if it has something to do with the image you are using as the background and the sizing of that, but I can’t be sure.

I have been waiting for this feature for years! Thank you so so much for sharing this. I am not able to get the shortcut due to untrusted shortcuts. I am not seeing the toggle to Allow Untrusted Shortcuts in Shortcuts. I am on IOS 13.0 public release. What I am I missing?

I'm trying to run this on an iPhone XS with iOS 13.0 but it crashes when trying to get the image from the setup URL. I've tried different images (different URLs) with the exact resolution of the iPhone XS. I made a video where you see the steps if it helps. Hope someone can help and fix it. @eiznem it crashes to my homescreen (I cut the homescreen frame because there was a personal photo on it). I made a new video, see it here: https://youtu.be/apLGpDzTtRk I double checked it, but no image stored in (recent) photos, not anywhere. It just crashes to homescreen, without any info. I'm new to shortcuts, is there a way for debugging that might give more info? FWIW: I used this image this time: https://wallpaperaccess.com/full/696849.jpg which is exactly the iPhone XS's resolution.

I sized the photo I am using to the exact size of my screen but after running the shortcut the photo is not aligned correctly to set as wallpaper. Am I doing something wrong? Edit: issue is resolved. Don't actually know what I changed that fixed it.

This is such a great idea. I have a question. How do I select another image if I don’t want the one I have anymore? Also it would be cool if you had it on a timer for every day and it ran at a certain time and automatically set it as a background image!

Facing a slight problem-“The weather action needs a location to getweather for, but none was provided.” Tried editing the location on the contract card but it doesn't seem to work for some reason irrespective of the format I give.
