Welcome to MediaKit Badges

Create your own Apple-style badges—the possibilities are nearly endless. For example, you can use a Classic Badge to identify yourself as the author of a shortcut on your Shortcut’s RoutineHub page. You can also indicate that an app is required for your shortcut. And much more. With a Download Badge you have the possibility to link another shortcut or app which is needed to use your shortcut.

Classic Badges: Create your own badges in white or black, with a border or without, with the Shortcuts app icon, with an icon from your shortcuts, a custom icon or with an icon of any app from the App Store.

All badges are available with a white and a black background. For custom icons there is also the option to select a border. In total there are ten different possibilities for Classic Badges.

I see one little bug in this. If we select a custom shortcuts app icon from our shortcuts library it doesn't show up in the final view. This can be fixed by replacing "show web page" with "Quick Look" but then you can't save the image.

Thank you for your feedback. It's a little different than you think. I just downloaded the shortcut here again and tested all options. There were no problems. But you're right that it can happen now and then that the icon is not loaded. This is due to the performance, because the JavaScript code is very complex and has to be retrieved every time. I spent about a week testing the Shortcuts. My experience was that the Badge Shortcut works better the more often you use it.

I think it was rather a coincidence that it worked for you with Quick Look, because it is also a coincidence that the error happens every now and then. Correct me if I’m wrong. But wait a few and test it again with "Show Web Page". :) (I’ve to say good night, cause it’s already 3:20 am where I live… ;))

Is there a version of MediaKit badges that works on iOS 13? I'm trying to make customized badges but it seems like MediaKit is broken when I click to use a customized icon, it just shows CSS and nothing happens. I don't have an iOS 12 device laying around.

MediaKit Badges currently only works with iOS 12. I'll probably change the shortcut completely in some places to avoid certain bugs that have appeared with some devices and iOS 12. But it's not that easy. I still ask for some patience. And don't worry, all MediaKit shortcuts are on my To-Do list. ;)

It's a shortcut that only works with iOS 12. Haven't you noticed that there will be a new version for iOS 13 soon? There will be many new features. I've said and shown some things in Discord Server. ;)

Hey, thanks for the feedback. And sorry for the late reply. Well, this is possible. Use the MediaKit hub/main shortcut. There's a "Upload & Markdown" section where you can link your graphics to whatever you like.
